Based on the shop-proven Haas VF-2 platform (30" x 16" x 20" travels), the VF-2SS comes standard with an innovative 12,000-rpm inline direct-drive spindle, an ultra-fast tool changer and 1400-ipm rapids. The unique inline, direct-drive system couples the motor directly to the spindle rather than using belts. Less vibration, less heat and less noise than other drive systems provides better surface finishes, thermal stability and very quiet operation. The newly designed 24+1 side-mount tool changer uses lighter materials and a high-performance servo motor, for tool changes that take less than 1.5 seconds tool to tool. High-pitch ballscrews and high-torque servo motors on all axes provide rapids of 1400 ipm.

The Haas VF-2 vertical machining center has 30" x 16" x 20" (762 x 406 x 508 mm) xyz travels and is built utilizing all American-made cast-iron components.
The Haas VF-2 is a rugged, small-footprint VMC that yields reliability and accuracy in a small-framed machine. The VF-2 has a 40-taper cartridge spindle driven by a 20 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) motor. The VF-2 produces either 75 ft-lb of torque at a low 1400 rpm, or 250 ft-lb at 450 rpm with the optional 2-speed gearbox -- and will also run up to 7500 rpm in 1.2 seconds for finishing aluminum.
The Haas Mini Mill has a generous work envelope of 16" x 12" x 10". This super-compact machine features a 40-taper spindle, speeds to 6000 rpm, 600-ipm rapids and a 10-pocket automatic tool changer. The Mini Mill handles small-parts manufacturing with the same reliability as all Haas CNC machines. It's ideal for finishing work and cutting aluminum, yet also provides enough low-end torque to cut steel.

Multi-Axis Machining and Positioning
MK Precision uses the latest HAAS Rotary Indexers for true 4th and 5th axis machining of your complex parts.
We also use them for positioning, to cut your production costs through reduced setup times and increased productivity.
The T5C25XB is used to eliminate second and third operations by automatically repositioning parts to a new angle. The T5C increases productivity by reducing manual parts handling and tool changes. It is also capable of full 360-degrees of spindle rotation and 240-degrees of tilt to reach virtually any angle and operates full 4th and 5th-axis.
T5C25XB 4th & 5th Dual Rotary Indexer
The HA5C-CNCB is the ideal choice for holding smaller parts. It can clamp parts using standard 5C collets or by chucking them in a 3-jaw chuck attached to 2 3/16"-10" spindle nose.
